About Us

South Geelong Primary School offers 14 classes from Foundation to Year 6. Our school offers Library/Computer technology, Music, Art, Literacy Assistance, Physical Education, Sport and a wide range of special interest classes.

Parents

At South Geelong Primary School, you have the opportunity to become involved by participating in the School Council, joining a school project or participating in less formal school activities, such as the Classroom Helpers program or parent groups.

Teaching & Learning

The Victorian Essential Learning Standards outline what is essential for all students to learn during their time at school. Our teachers use these learning standards and the National Curriculum to plan programs, assess student’s learning progress and report to parents.

Farmer’s Market at SGPS

South Geelong Primary School hosts producers from the Bellerine, Otways and Golden Plains regions on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month from 9am to 1pm.

For every home game, South Geelong Primary School offers on site carparking for visitors attending the game. All funds raised go towards buying take home readers for our students.
